Romantic Wedding locations on Lake GardaLake Garda is the largest of the Italian Lakes and is situated in the north of Italy near to Verona. The towns around the lake cross over 3 counties and offer very different types of scenery. In the north (Riva, Torbole, Malcesine, Limone and Castelletto) Lake Garda has spectacular mountain views with the towns sitting at the bottom of the mountain slopes. In the south (Torri Del Benaco, Garda, Bardolino, Gardone and Salo) the towns are surrounded by gentle rolling hills with a lovely Mediterranean feel about them. Drena is just a few kilometres north of the lake with fabulous views of the whole Sarche Valley which leads into Lake Garda. The villages and towns around the lake are very varied and offer different experiences. Some feel like you're stepping back in time with a very relaxed atmosphere, siestas in the afternoon and a couple of local bars and typical restaurants to visit whilst others offer more in the way of sports, shops and gorgeous restaurants to suit everyone's taste.

The town itself dates back to prehistoric times, but its character comes from Roman and Medieval times when the castle was built to defend its inhabitants. Malcesine
MalcesineThe town of Malcesine is tucked in at the base of the stunning Monte Baldo mountainside, right on the lakeside, situated near the top end of Lake Garda on its eastern shores. The views are spectacular from wherever you look!!
